Rastafarianism also set dietary and hygiene laws to accompany its religion's doctrine. Rastafarians also outlawed the combing or cutting of hair. This made dreadlocks an acceptable alternative. The popularity of reggae music gave Rasta a vehicle to spread its message throughout the world.

As the birthplace of reggae music and the late great legendary reggae superstar Bob Marley, Jamaica provides the “riddem“ for a funky tropical paradise with extraordinary turquoise blue water and unbelievably perfect weather.
